I have many traditions that I adhere to; most for no reason other than it is just something that I like to do. One of these traditions is that on my way to the coast, I always stop and eat at the Wards in Hattiesburg Mississippi Jackson , the largest city in Mississippi Mississippi

my hubby spent a few months working in hattiesburg after katrina. wonder if he ever ate at wards... i'll have to find out! :)
I've not heard of Wards where they make hamburgers! I do remember Montgomery Wards, though! :-)

I think most of us have a touchpoint that makes us feel like home.
Ohhhhhh....I'd be all about the root beer!
Pass on the meats, though. I'm sure it's good--however...
I'm originally from Chicago and there are so many local chains there that I have to go to when we're in town. They're almost ubiquitous there and such a part of the local culture.
...and homemade root beer? Is the best root beer.
We can do with a couple of these traditional American diners around here.
