Framed
One of my favorite spots on any ship I’ve sailed on is the stern. On the *Navigator of the Seas*, it provided the perfect frame for Ensenada in the distance. The view was nothing short of picture-perfect—a scene so captivating that I couldn’t resist capturing it.

Watery Window
Most views outside a window pale in comparison to the vibrant scenes beyond this one. During my last visit to Catalina Island, we boarded a semi-submersible and ventured into the fish sanctuary. The waters around the Channel Islands are teeming with life, and the fish there are nothing short of spectacular—displaying a dazzling array of colors that truly take your breath away.

Indoor Pool
I went to one of the convenience shops for some water and someone apparently left in the middle of a pool game. The balls were still laid out waiting on someone to take a shot.
I wonder if they intend to come back and finish the game.

継続は力なり。
Hanging in the window of The Green Bean in downtown Greensboro hang a flock of paper cranes; I am unsure as to why they hang, I assume it could be in honor of those affected a year ago in Japan.

Felis qui nihil debet
There are people that come into your life that you know without a doubt you would bend the heavens for. No thinking, no hesitation, they ask and suddenly the word, “yes,” falls from your lips without a single regret. Loyalty like no other… something rare and beautiful in itself.

...
Randomly when you least expect it you find something that makes you breathless. I don’t know why this happens, but it does happen. Three years ago I lost a friend in a car accident, I had to go to her myspace today for something… it had defaulted to the original… I found this http://www.gabawordsjots.blogspot.com/ it would have been hidden behind the background she used to have. I am in a bit of shock at this discovery, a glimpse at a friend that I cared for. I know that death is not an ending, and I know she still lives in each and very life she touched, I caught a glimpse of her tonight.

Fine Line

Strength is not if you can fight all evil that comes to you, and running away does not necessarily make you a coward. It’s walking in the dusk between light and dark, not crossing over either way, it takes true strength and courage to do this… it is too easy to fall either way. Eleven years I have watched people I love hide in the dark, it must seem safe to them there… me I have found my foothold in the dusk of life, I have tripped but have always found my way back, I just wish I could pull them up with me.
