Clouds are harbingers of rain and storms and much to often recently in the area I call my home, the southern USA otherwise known as “Dixie ,” clouds have been the bringer of Death. Cities like Joplin , MO all the Way to Alabama and many places in between. Even Jackson , MS has been hit by a Tornado this year. It is a very horrific situation that such beautiful clouds can cause so much pain and destruction to so many. My thoughts are with those who have lost homes and loved ones in the Tornados and the current Flooding that is still devastating so many.

This is a beautiful picture. What's been happening over there with the tornadoes has been terrible. My thoughts are with those who have suffered hurt and loss.
it truly is so widespread between tornadoes, flooding, wildfires, drought. and then of course hurricane season is just about to start. mother nature is angry with us once again...
Terrific shot. We had some crazy weather roll thru here yesterday. Luckily is passed us by quickly.
Whoa. Looks like unfriendly weather in the making.
I've never been this nervous when the sirens sound--not the usual 'springlike' weather I've been accustomed to. Bit frightening to watch it happening all around you.
*sigh*
I saw the tornadoes on our tv news and it looks devestating.
A very dramatic and powerful photo! I hate tornadoes. They're worse than our hurricanes...of course, they often come with hurricanes but at least we have some warning!
