Brandon Park
Mississippi does not lack in places to visit for scenery, as one of the more rural states in the USA we have many parks and outdoors places to go and spend our days. One of my favourite places to visit and play tennis, or just sit and chat with my friends is Brandon Park in Brandon, Mississippi. It has something for everyone, a large place for children to play, a historical museum, a place to sit and enjoy nature… and an outcropping a Mississippi sandstone with fossils.

Thank You!
Do you get Ssnow in Winter?
We get snow, but not much and not often. this year we had an unusally cold winter and had several snow storms. But the most snow at once was about 6 inches and it lasted a day.
Parks are the places I used to go. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Nice photo.
Hello Grant! It's just wonderful that you sent US goodies to Jo in South Africa. She's a lovely lady. I've read some of your recent posts and I've enjoyed them.
Hope you'll drop by my blog and check out what's going on in France.
Oh--there's GREEN!
We're gettin' there, slowly but surely.
And going to the park is on the agenda for the weekend! Another 'rural' place, we're blessed to have great parks, too.
@asm, yes they are... I love going and conversing with nature.
@dedene Wonderful to meet you! Jo is a wonderful person, and I am honoured to have share that with her.
@Mel, My world is turning green, I hope you get to see green soon as well!
To answer your question about the crayons... I took all the broken crayons from church, melted them down into kid-friendly shapes and gave it back to them. Ya know how kids aren't a fan of broken crayons...I thought this would help.
