The moon is one of the gifts that the people of the earth are blessed with. One of the best things to do is to ponder the moon and stars on a clear night… and just look. However tonight the sky is not clear and the moon is shining her beautiful light through a thin blanket of clouds. I love nights like this just as well, the clouds offer something new to ponder, something just as magickal and all too wonderful. Even better is on a dark night when the moon is a waxing or waning crescent and the stars shine through the holes in the clouds… Absolutely peaceful.

Wow, Grant (are you known as Jerry or Grant - I like the latter, my darling hubby's name) Wow, I say to that beautiful moon shot. Thanks for your concern about my wrist on my blog post yesterday. It is coming along well, still bandaged securely. My three-year-old grandson and 6 yo granddaughter love to take Gran to the airport merely to watch planes taking off and landing. I think these machines fascinate old and young. Thanks for the tip to take a photo of my birds inside the cage. I will try it shortly - I'm sure they'd get used to me in time. Have a great day. Jo

Jo, I go by Grant as Jerry is my dad's name... it helps to avoid confusion. Airplanes still fascinate me as well, even though I see them on a semi-constant basis. I leared to put the camera in the cage, or in my case Terrarium when all I kept getting was glare from the glass. Did you see a doctor about your wrist?
Afv... I am pleased you like the photo, inspiration comes at odd times for me. That is not my skywatch as it is still Thursday for me. :-)

It took me a while to get the photo just right overtiredmom... I was just glad to get one really decent shot. I am glad that the serenity and beauty shined through.
