Time passes and things seem to get busier and busier and
soon we will forget the simplicity that was once part of life in a small
town. For nearly the past twenty years
the world has been connected and made to seem very small and now everyone is
connected.
“I miss Mayberry,
Sitting on the
porch drinking,
Ice cold Cherry
Coke,
Where everything is
black and white,
Picking on a six
string,
Where people pass
by and you call
Them by their first
name,
Watching the clouds
roll by.”

Beautifully captured.
My skywatch, have a great weekend.
We moved from the big city (sprawling Los Angeles) to a small town in Coastal BC. Takes two ferries (or an airplane) to get here. Not many jobs, so we are losing our youth back to the big cities. But for us retired folk, it fits like a glove. - Margy
We are missing the simple life.
Costas
Very nice street shots.
Regards and best wishes
I've always been drawn to the big cities during my youth (in large part because of the job market). I'm much more drawn to the Mayberry's now... and looking forward to retirement so I can do more than visit!
