I’ve lived most of my life in the Jackson, Mississippi Metro area. Jackson is the largest city in the state of Mississippi, but it is by no means a large city. Memphis is the first large city you come to if you drive north three hours on I-55 (Same distance south lands you in New Orleans.) I had been through Memphis several times in the past, but never enough to really stop and see the sights. I liked what I saw, that is until me and my friends got stuck in a not-so-nice part of town. We went to the Zoo, The famous Peabody Hotel, and the Rendezvous for their famous BBQ. It was an amazing trip, and I really hope to go and spend more time there.

I came across this post rather randomly via the blogger bar at the top, and thought I'd let you know that I'm travelling to Memphis next Saturday. Thought it was rather funny how I came across your post!
Check out my blog (www.thewebguyuk.co.uk), there's a few posts on there about my trip if you can find them.
