These majestic mountains, their summits gently brushed by clouds, were captured during a trip to Los Angeles. I can only assume that it is Mount San Antonio, aka Mount Baldy belonging to the San Gabriel Mountains. What makes this photo truly special to me is the striking separation of land and sky, with the clouds nestled perfectly in between. I still remember the overwhelming sense of awe I felt when I first glimpsed this breathtaking view from my window.

...nice view of the top of the world.
It wasn't what I expected flying into LAX.
What an amazing capture.
Beautiful post
I thought this view looked familiar! It might also be Mt. Wilson. Can't tell for sure, because the clouds obscure the top of the mountain (where all the TV towers would be). Regardless, it's a beautiful photo!
A true photoblogger you are, ready to capture the moment!!
